Haiku is a worldwide phenomenon: In the interest of fairness to our readership, issues of Notes from the Gean will not, therefore, be tailored to any particular season nor have a culture bias but rather our focus will always be on the quality of the work.

All poems, artwork and resources submitted to Notes from the Gean must be unpublish

ed, either in print or electronically, and not under consideration elsewhere. As poetry on social networks and blog's is not representative of an editor’s selection we, therefore, deem such works as unpublished. Though we now consider such works to be unpublished we still ask that they not be under consideration elsewhere and that you also bear in mind that each work will still have to undergo the same rigorous selection process, by our editors, as any other submission would.

In the case of collaborative works, all parties must give permission to publish and the names, country of residence and contact information of all must be included in the submission.

Notes from the Gean will accept unpublished scholarly essays, articles and reviews from outside sources. For editorial purposes, third party reviews must at least be accompanied by PDF if hard copy cannot be sent. Unfortunately we cannot accept reviews of their own books by the author.

Books for review should be sent in good time to the Editor-in-Chief but may in some cases be held over until the next issue to ensure they will receive a full and proper review.
Please send hard copy only - not PDF.

Technical details and exact specifications for submitting for each genre can be found in the drop-down menu. which is accessed by clicking on the appropriate editor's name.
